Elegance is our hallmark

Elegant Wine Design, LLC, was formed by Michael & Sonya Talkington. Our goal is to assist wine collectors who are passionate about their wines and who appreciate the value of correctly designed wine storage for both cellaring pleasure and collecting wine as an investment.

 

Our family has been in Las Vegas since 1965 and understands the trends of the climate that can affect the proper design and constructon of your wine feature.

 

Mike Talkington has 13 years experience in wine cellar design and constrution. Our design team will create a visual CAD drawing that, once built, will become a climate controlled showcase for your wine.

 

Whether you wish to upgrade an existing wine room or build a wine wall feature that will show your friends and family your true passion for wine collecting, we will be able assist you through the entire process.

OUR 3 STEP PROCESS TO CREATE AND BUILD YOUR WINE SHOWCASE

    Site Visit To Your Home

    One of our project managers will come to your home for a meeting to discuss your wine storage needs, whether you require a wine feature wall, a full walk in wine showcase or just some proper wine storage under the stairs or in a basement.

     

    Your Project Manager will ask about your wine collecting habits, needs and plans, your design taste, we will advise you on the best location for your wine
    storage project.

  • Showcasing CAD Plans
    After the initial site visit and meeting followed by an assessment of your ideas, plans, and wine storage aims and objectives, our designers will prepare a fully detailed CAD drawing, estimate, and proposed start to finish time line for your project.

  • Building and Installation
    Our crews will prep the area where the wine storage will be built to ensure the remainder of the house stays free of dust and debris. The demo, refrigeration and electrical line sets are completed in the
    first few days.Complete rebuild of the wine storage area will be air and moisture tight to achieve maximum operation of the wine
    refrigeration system. Final phase of the construction is the installation of the wine racking, and the air tight glass doors and panels.

We will discuss, in detail, your goals for both long and short term botle capacity, as well as specific bottle sizes and the proper racking to accommodate them.  We will provide you with computer aided design drawings to look over and approve.

We offer through-the-wall units, ducted systems, as well as split systems.

 

We will help you determine the best wine cooling system to meet your neds.

Our Elegant Wine Design team will go throgh the construction process to ensure a properly constructed room is built.

 

We can assist you in additional finish items including lighting, flooring, wall treatments and water features within the wine room to add additional humidity to the air when needed.
